Hard things are hard to do. Culturally we want the easy way out. You guys, being a foster parent is hard. So. so. so. hard. And pretty much all of the time I want to sugar coat it and tell others and myself that it’s just part of life, it’s really not that difficult. I wish I could say we do it because it’s so easy. But. In all reality, we do it because it IS hard. We, as the church, as God’s people need to be willing to do hard things. a lil peek into my life
I'm Julia-- married to farmer Dan. And yep, we're the 25-something year old Sweethearts over here in a tiny one-light-town in Tn. I absolutely love being married and doing life together with my hubby. I love Jesus and love loving on people-being Jesus to them! Also maybe a bit of a social butterfly. I will admit to being an organizing-freak. I enjoy playing with photography. We are on a ttc journey & we are full of hope, knowing that God is scripting our story, but the struggle to hand over that pen to God is very real. January 2015 God called us to minister to kids in foster care & we are very passionate about sharing Jesus with them. To keep my head & heart calm I have notes all over my house and journals everywhere I go..so my blog is an overflow of all of the above, bits and pieces of my heart and our journey..I would love to connect with you and hope you stick around! We are so blessed..
